Dr. Nusbaum Wins a Dell Canada Award of Excellence in Technology

In October 2007, Carrville Family Chiropractic was a ­winn­er of D­ell Canada's National Small Business Excellence In Customer Service Award. This annual award, n­ow in its third year, recognizes innovative use of technology by smaller companies.

Dr. Nusbaum has always strived to provide his patients with the highest standards in health care. "I'm flattered that Dell Canada recognized my office as a Canadian leader in niformation technology as a way to deliver a superior patient experience."

Dr. Nusbaum uses the Insight Millennium — Computerized Nerve scanning technology — to help with the diagnosis and care of patients. "We can actually "see" how a person't nervous system is functioning, and through this be able to identify the source of their health problem," says Dr. Nusbaum. "The patients can see it too, and this is reassuring for the patients, as it gives them insight inot their health that they've never had before."

Dr. Nusbaum also uses a digital foot scanner to create a three-dimensional mapping of the foot, which aids in the diagnosis and correction of many foot and spinal problems. These digital foot scans are then sent via the internet to his lab. These digital scans are used by the lab to create custom-made orthotics as well as custom-made orthopedic shoes. No more messy casts! Patients love the convenience and the results.
